GET a taste of the Caribbean with traditional food and music as two nations come together for a cricket match in Reading this weekend.
A cricket match between St Vincent & The Grenadines (SVG) and Barbados is being held at the Atrium Club in Reading on Sunday, August 20.
As well as the cricket match, there will be live Caribbean music from SVG’s DJ Dr Freeze, and Bajan DJ Paulie.
Spectators can celebrate all things Caribbean with Vincentian culinary delicacies such as curry goat, potato pudding and pelau food will be served alongside Vincentian Hairoun beer and Vincy Rum Punch at the bar.
Cricket fans are also in with the chance of winning a free trip to St. Vincent & the Grenadines on Virgin Atlantic Airways, with a five-night stay in Beachcombers Hotel’s Presidential Suite – raffle tickets can be purchased during the event.
The gate opens at 11am, the game starts at 1pm and tickets cost £10 which are being sold at the door.
