An 18-year-old suspected drug driver has been arrested following a police chase in Reading.
The incident happened just after 3 pm on Saturday, August 19 when a rider on a white moped failed to stop for police in Cranbury Road.
Thames Valley Police followed the driver to Norcot Street where the man stopped and was chased down Romany Lane.
Following the police chase, the teenager was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit through drugs, failing to stop for police, driving without a license and possession of cannabis.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Fairman, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident to please come forward.
“Not only did the rider fail to stop for us, they then drove extremely dangerously in an attempt to get away and they’re very lucky that no one was injured.
