A warning has been issued to drivers and bus passengers in Reading as upcoming roadworks are likely to cause delays to journeys.
Main roads in Caversham, Southcote, and Woodley will be affected by roadworks that will be in place this week.
In Caversham, road resurfacing work is being undertaken for the length of Lowfield Road by Reading Borough Council.
Resurfacing will take place on Saturday, September 9 and from Monday, September 11 to Friday, September 15 between 8am and 8pm.
The closure will affect Reading Buses service the berry 24 as well as school routes 83 and 84, with buses following a diversion route.
There will also be works on the junction of Bath Road and Berkeley Avenue in Southcote from Monday, September 4, until Friday, September 29.
The A4 Bath Road will be closed at the junction with Berkley Avenue in the direction of Calcot.
This closure will be in place so that Southern Gas Networks can conduct upgrades, which will affect the affect jet black, lime, yellow 26 and royal blue 33 routes.
Road users are also being warned of a road closure in Woodley.
According to traffic reports on one.network, Bader Way will be closed at its junction with the A329(M). The closure will be implemented so that The Electricity Network Company can remove scaffolding on a bridge for cabling works.
Drivers and orange 13 & 14 buses will be sent on a diversion using open stretches of The Bader Way, Headley Road, Reading Road, Church Road and Wokingham Road.
The Headley Road Circle and Woodley Piazza bus stops will still be in use during this closure.
