The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

April 10 to 17

CHRISTOPHER PROSPER, 44, of Abbey Gardens, Reading, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug, cocaine, in Newbury on February 27, a Class Bu drug, cannabis, and a bladed article, a razor blade. He was given a community order to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity and six weeks of drug rehabilitation activity. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £115.

RHYS BONESS-BRAYBOOK, 25, of Chapel Street, Thatcham, indicated guilty to possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, on March 1 this year. He was given a period of conditional discharge of 12 months. There was no order for costs.

JAMIE WHITEHOUSE, 41, of Ullswater, Bracknell, pleaded guilty to obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty on March 6 this year. He was fined £80. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £32.

STEPHEN HEATH, 41, of Virginia Way, Reading, indicated guilty to possession of a bladed article in Broad Street Mall, namely a set of knuckledusters, on April 11 this year. He also indicated guilty o assaulting a police officer. He was jailed for six months and an order was made for the knuckle duster to forfeited and destroyed. There were no order for costs but compensation for £150.

PETER PICKERING, 57, of Caversham Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of burglary, namely The Griffin Pub in Reading, where he stole £60. He was given an eight-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £60 in compensation and court costs of £85.

MOHAMMED LONE, 37, of Wroxham Road, Woodley, pleaded guilty to impersonating a police officer on November 30, 2021. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 18 months. There were also court costs of £85.

ALIAH MADDISON, 21, of Rupert Street, Reading, was found guilty of assaulting another person on August 22, 2020. She pleaded guilty to one count of failing to surrender to police/court bail. She was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. There was also 250 hours of unpaid work and 25 days of rehabilitation activity. There was no order for court costs.

LEE PEPIATT, 19, of Wilmington Close, Reading, was found guilty of keeping a motor vehicle which not meet insurance requirements. He was fined £220. There were also court costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £34.

BEATA KLEDYNSKA, 37, of Buckingham Gardens, Slough, pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police/court bail on October 26, 2022. She was fined £300. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £120.

ANTHONY ROBERTSON, 33, of Eyre Green, Slough, pleaded guilty to eight counts of theft. The details are: on April 12, 2023, he stole £488.03 items from a Co-Op store, on April 11, 2023, he stole £109.40 items from Co-Op store and £206.50 of laundry items, on April 10, he stole pet food items to the value of £114.80 from a Co-Op store, £365.50 of household items and snacks from a Co-Op store, and £266.40 of household items, on April 9 he stole £69.85 of frozen food items from a Co-Op Store, and on April 8 he stole £188.95 of items from a Co-Op store. He was jailed for 20 weeks. There was no order for costs.
