POPULAR TV series Married at First Sight UK is returning with a bang – and a contestant from Reading is ready to take a chance on love.
The series, which shows couples making a lifelong commitment to each other, sight unseen, after being matched by dating experts Melanie Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas, will return for its longest runtime to date at 36 episodes on Monday, September 18.
This season of the unconventional reality dating show will feature a 40-year-old fun-loving father of three who is looking to find the one after years of living the bachelor lifestyle.
Terence, a youth worker and DJ from Reading describes himself as “the life and soul of the party” who has 'reached a turning point' after his latest milestone birthday.
Despite feeling “a bit worried” about taking the plunge into the stint on reality TV, he has also expressed his excitement to bring his vibrant and optimistic personality to the table.
The Reading-born DJ has admitted that after being single for the past two years, he is ready to find love on the show.
After the singles have been matched with a partner by the dating experts, their love is put to the test by embarking on a “luxurious” honeymoon before moving in with each other alongside their fellow castmates.
With cameras following the newlyweds, as they attempt to cohabit while mingling with the other contestants at weekly dinner parties and commitment ceremonies, there is sure to be no shortage of drama – especially in the culminating episode, when each couple must decide whether they want to re-commit to their spouse or go their separate ways forever.
Married At First Sight UK will kick off on Monday, September 18 at 9 pm on E4.
