A number of the pink rectangle signs have been placed on streetlights along the A340 next to the Englefield Estate.
One sign, which says, “CROWD”, appears to point towards the grand stately home’s entrance.
The use of these fluorescent, brightly coloured signs are usually to direct film or television crews to locations.
It is not yet known if there is filming taking place locally or what is happening at the estate.
Englefield Estate has been contacted for comment.
