A popular cocktail bar and kitchen in the heart of the town centre could extend its hours later into the night.
Revolución de Cuba is a large Latin American-themed cocktail bar and kitchen known for hosting Salsa dance classes, brunches and other social events.
It’s also a popular spot for drinkers on a night, with the bar currently closing at 1am from Thursday to Saturday, and 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday.
Now, the bar’s operators Inventive Service Company has applied to keep the party going until 2am at the latest.

The company has submitted an application to change the licence to Reading Borough Council.
In full, it has applied to sell alcohol, food and host regulated entertainment until 12.30am on Sunday to Wednesday and 2am from Thursday to Saturday.
Anyone who wishes to comment on the application should email licensing@reading.go.vuk – these are publicly available, with the deadline for responses being Thursday, October 10.
While this application to change the licence has been submitted recently, the days of Revolución de Cuba are numbered as plans have been approved to demolish the building it occupies and replace it with a 163-bed Leonardo hotel.
The project will also see the demolition of the Eye Site opticians, with the closed Bugle pub being incorporated into the hotel building.
You can view the approved plan for the hotel by typing reference 221235 into the council’s planning website.
The Revolución de Cuba brand has 18 bars in the UK.
