This is the moment an argument descended into a fight outside The Oracle shopping centre in Reading. 

The incident occurred near the McDonalds and Cafe Nero in broad daylight on Tuesday, Ocotber 10.

An eyewitness, who recorded the video, said a group of friends were having coffee when a man approached them asking for a cigarette.

He said there appeared to be some miscommunication before the fight broke out.

Speaking to The Reading Chronicle, he said: "The guy with the hat on went up to them and kept asking for a cigarette and they said no but the guy with the hat on must have thought that they were saying f*** off to him.

"They were asking him to leave but he wasn’t leaving and then that’s when the fight broke out."

The video shows that there appears to be a verbal argument before a physical fight takes place.

It appears there were no injuries and the eyewitness confirmed that the men returned to their coffees soon after while the third man walked away.

Thames Valley Police have been asked for a comment about the incident.
