A "chic" countryside hotel on the River Thames has been named the best renovated hotel in the UK, Europe and the Mediterranean.
The Swan at Streatley has bagged the award for its "carefully restored" 17th century inn.
Condé Nast Johansens, who presented the title as part of its awards for excellence, also commended the location of the hotel, situated on the "picturesque" River Thames in Berkshire’s Chiltern Hills.
"It’s all extremely peaceful and pretty," added the award company, known for producing guides for independent travellers.
The Swan at Streatly is part of the chain restaurant Coppa Club.
It is dog friendly and family friendly, boasting a "home-from-home" feel.
Guests can enjoy a range of spaces including the Summerhouse dining room, restaurant and late-night cocktails in the Snug.
A range of food is prepared for guests including pancakes, pastries, pizzas, grilled meat and grazing platters - as well as an option to take away a picnic.
A fully-equipped gym with sauna and steam room, massage and physiotherapist treatments, and a yoga studio are all available on-site.
Paddle boarding and rides on electric motor boats can also be arranged.
Summing up why the award was presented to The Swan at Streatly, Condé Nast Johansens said: "This is an all-in-one destination designed to help you switch off, relax and spend quality time with friends and family in a beautiful riverside setting."
