A company has launched a bid for music, alcohol sales and late-night food for a venue at a busy shopping area in East Reading.
The company called Helenmaa Ltd has taken over the old All Stars takeaway at 83 Wokingham Road, which is on a terrace of other eateries, off licences and other shops.
Helenmaa has turned into ‘Yo Momoz’, which is named after momo dumplings popular in Himalayan nations such as Nepal, Bhutan, India and Tibet in China.
Its website states that it serves wings, dumplings, Indo-Chinese dishes such as curries and noodles and more to diners.
Yo Momoz also has a shisha lounge and a hireable karaoke room for up to 25 guests.
Now, Helenmaa Ltd wants to improve the offer of Yo Momoz by selling alcohol, hosting live music and selling food until 2am at the weekends.
