A family-focused festival company is set to bring a package of exciting events over one weekend in Reading next summer.
Events company Tots Events Ltd has become known in Reading for holding the 'Raver Tots' festivals that have become an annual fixture at Prospect Park.
Now it has released information about its plans for the music events it hopes to hold next year.
Over a weekend in July, Tots Events wants to hold an Ibiza dance festival on the Friday, a 90s pop music festival on the Saturday and its trademark 'Raver Tots' event on the Sunday.
Raver Tots is a family-orientated festival aimed at parents with children who want to share their love of dance music with their little ones.
In a TV interview, organiser Mike Pickets said: "It's bringing back that ethos of the rave scene, of togetherness, of unity, built on the foundation of the rave scene which is young people."
It has seen huge music acts such as garage icons Artful Dodger, drum and bass legend Benny Page and DJ Matt Jam Lamont play in the past.
Raver Tots in Reading has typically been held on one Sunday during the summer.
This year, a 90s pop music festival was held on the day before on Saturday, which Tots Events wants to repeat for 2024.
Additionally, they want to add the Ibiza dance festival as mentioned earlier on Friday.
In order for these events to go ahead, the company has had to submit a licensing application to Reading Borough Council.
In full, Tots Events has applied to provide regulated entertainment and sell alcohol from 3pm to 10pm on the Friday, 12pm to 10pm on the Saturday and 11.30am to 7pm on the Sunday.
You can comment on the application by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk.
The deadline for representations is Thursday, November 16.
