Dance Reading Festival is to return this month and performances will include two shows by Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity at the Hexagon on November 15 and 16.
Diversity’s new UK tour ‘Supernova’ is a follow-up to their previously sold-out ‘Connected’ tour in 2022.
Diversity stole the nation’s hearts after they won the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, and ever since then have sold out multiple UK tours.
They have also appeared on numerous television shows and have performed live countless times.
Reading’s annual celebration of dance will return this year with a wide variety of events. Their 2023 focus is on youth work, and dancers from local Arts Award youth projects are heavily involved.
Organisers of the festival want children and adults alike to try something new, whether as a participant or spectator.
Festival producer Beth Allum said: “A big part of our mission is to spread the joy of dance as far as possible, and to celebrate all the incredible dance that is taking place in Reading.
“We want to get everyone moving, however they can, from football fans to senior citizens looking for a new challenge, the thrill of seeing people of all ages trying dance for the first time is unmatched!”
