AN individual has been hospitalised after an incident near a Reading shopping centre on Sunday (November 5).
Several police vehicles and two fire engines were seen by the Oracle Riverside at about 5pm yesterday.
People reported having to 'leave through the back exits of restaurants' due to the incident.

Thames Valley Police have since confirmed there was a 'fear for welfare' which was 'safely resolved' with 'no injuries'.
However, an individual has been taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Due to the circumstances, we would not provide any further detail."
