The owner of a Woodley Indian Restaurant has thanked their many customers after winning the Best Restaurant category at a national awards ceremony celebrating Pan-Asian cuisine.

Jalpari of Woodley attended the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2023 (ARTA) at Hilton Park Lane in London after being shortlisted alongside two other Berkshire restaurants.

Following many ups and downs over the years, their determination to provide the best experience for a curry resulted in them being named the ‘best Indian restaurant of the year’ for the South Central Region.

The owner said: “A great honour and achievement in winning the Best Restaurant for South Central Region. Our chefs have worked diligently, though the ups and downs of running the business and finding time to innovate and exciting ideas for new flavours.

“The hard work from the Kitchen creating amazing dishes and the front stuff providing excellent service to our amazing customers, we try to give the best experience for a curry after a long week.

“We would like to thank all our Customers eating in or taking away, making this possible for us. This award is an inspiration for us to continue delivering good food and service, we will work to improving the service and dishes so all types of spice enjoyers to experience the exciting dishes!”

Jalpari of Woodley is located at Lodden Vale Shopping Centre and offers customers a unique dining experience and mouth-watering authentic Indian cuisine using hand-sourced ingredients.
