A 33-year-old drug dealer has been jailed after police found him in possession of a large quantity of drugs and an offensive weapon.
Ionut Budar, 33, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine and heroin after police found him exchanging drugs on Katesgrove Lane on July 25 2023.
When he was searched, the offender was found with 44 wraps of class-A drugs and a knuckle-duster.
Budar was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, November 9 to two years and eight months in prison.
Investigating officer, PC James Dunwell, based at Reading police station, said: “Budur was an established drug dealer and I am pleased to have been able to bring him to justice.
“We will not tolerate those involved in the supply of drugs and will continue to pursue offenders.
