Road closures are currently in place as emergency services work to put out a fire in central Reading.
At 12:30pm today (November 23) Thames Valley Police confirmed road closures are in place from Forbury roundabout to Forbury Road, Friar Street and Friar West.
It comes as emergency services deal with an ongoing incident.
At 11:38am today Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service were notified of a fire near Station Hill in Reading.
Crews were quickly deployed to the scene where they remain to put the fire out.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "We are currently on scene at a fire in Napier Road, Reading, alongside Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"We are working to allow access for residents to premises that have not been affected by the fire, and to the hotels."
