Hundreds of Santas are expected to show off their racing skills in a 5k Santa Run next week.
On Sunday, December 10 the Rotary Club of Reading along with Reading University has organised the timed run to support local charities.
Approximately 600 participants are expected, and all entrants will be provided with Santa suits prior to the event.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the annual Santa Run, and in addition to the main timed 5k run, a 2k junior run and walk will be taking place.
This is to make the event more accessible to families and those in the community with limited mobility.
Funds raised by the Rotary Club of Reading from entries will principally be shared between charities based locally in Reading.
Local organisations and charities and those benefiting from their support are encouraged to come along and raise money for their own causes by participating in this event.
Please get your entries in before noon on Friday 1st December, so that you can collect your race pack ahead of the event.
The collection point will be in the University car park any time from 10am till 4pm on Saturday 2nd December, each pack will include a Santa suit.
