A 22-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested following two burglaries at the same shop on Lambourn High Street.
Both burglaries occurred at McColl’s on both Tuesday, November 28 at 3:25 am and Wednesday, November 29 at 2:50 am.
On November 28, police reported that three offenders forced open the cigarette display before stealing a quantity of cigarettes. They then made off in a grey Land Rover discovery.
On November 29, one offender broke into the same shop and stole a quantity of cigarettes, vapes and bottles of alcohol before leaving.
An investigation is ongoing into both burglaries
The 28-year-old woman from Hampshire was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, only about the burglary on Tuesday, November 28.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Tyler Miller said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed either burglary or has any footage, such as CCTV, video doorbell or dash-cam, related to them to please come forward.
“If you live in the area and have security cameras, please check your recordings in case they caught anything which could help us, and the same goes if you have a dash-cam and were driving in the area at the time of either burglary.
