Royal Berkshire Hospital has released a statement relaying to the public that they are currently dealing with an "IT incident" which is affecting contact.
A spokesperson for the hospital released a statement just now which said: "We are currently dealing with an IT incident affecting our Trust.
All patients have been warned not to contact the hospital unless absolutely necessary, meaning that the public should avoid calling any department.
The statement also outlined that people seeking emergency medical help should find alternatives to contacting the Emergency Department unless their case is particularly severe.
The statement continued: "As we work to resolve this issue, please avoid contacting us unless absolutely necessary – and seek alternatives to our Emergency Department except in case of serious and life-threatening emergencies."
