The Next Boxing Day sale has seen long queues forming from the early hours across the country in previous years, but things will be different again in 2023.
Next has more than 500 stores in the UK, including four branches in Berkshire located in Reading, Bracknell, Slough, and Newbury.
In 2021, the fashion and homeware chain announced it would close on Boxing Day to give its staff a well-earned break.
Shoppers keen to go bargain-hunting in person at the high street giant will want to head out on Wednesday, December 27 instead.
A spokesman for Next confirmed that this will be the case again in 2023, with all UK stores shut on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which falls on a Monday and Tuesday this year.
While customers won't be able to go in-store until Wednesday, December 27, they will still be able to shop the sale online.
