A street food and drinks area will host a New Year event this weekend.
Blue Collar Corner, which is based in Reading, will be welcoming in the new year under a giant mirrorball to the sound of disco floor fillers as their popular Discorama event returns on December 31.
Four of their most popular street food kitchens, Arty Stan Pizza, Buddy’s Burgers, Crayfish Kitchen & Mr Pig Stuff will all be preparing New Year’s Eve specials for ticketholders to enjoy before dancing the night away for the last time in 2024.
Glen Dinning, who is from the business, said: “We had a huge mix of people, young and old, all enjoying great street food and drinks then filling our dancefloor all night long.
"We can’t wait to do it all again with even more DJs playing disco classics from start to finish.
After taking a one-week break following their Discorama party, Blue Collar Corner will re-open on Thursday, January 11, and brings another varied events schedule throughout January and February including interviews with former Reading FC players, a Burns Night whisky tasting, special guest DJs, Six Nations Rugby Screening and a record fair.
Famous names from the 2005/06 season squad such as Dave Kitson, Leroy Lita and Glen Little will all have a night each where they will share memories of that season, give their thoughts on the current state of the club and answer audience questions.
