A Wokingham based charity that supports families experiencing financial hardship has announced two fundraising events - a colour run and bingo night.
First Days was launched in 2013 and offers emotional, practical and specialist support via a Family Support Team.
On Sunday, May 12 they will be hosting a "vibrant" colour run at Prospect Park in Reading, set to begin at 2pm.
The family-friendly event promises a 2.5km course "bursting with colour throws, laughter, and unforgettable memories", all while raising vital funds for the First Days Children's Charity.
Ellie Gosling, Fundraising and Events Manager, said: “This event is a fantastically colourful family fun event with no pressure on time or results, simply on just having fun and creating memories whilst raising funds for a local charity that helps local families.”
Registration for the First Days Colour Run is now open with tiered prices starting at £10 per person. For more information visit firstdays.net/colour-run
Next month will also see the charity host a Bingo Night on Saturday, March 23 at the St Crispin's School in Wokingham.
Tickets start at £12 and can be found at firstdays.net/comedy-bingo-night.
