A heart warming tale unfolded on Friday 16 February when a vigilant passer by spotted a lost dog wandering in the middle of the road.
The concerned citizen noticed that the dog was wearing an identity tag from Rags & Bert's, a local Doggy Daycare & Dog Hotel.
They safely escorted the furry friend to Rags & Bert's in Loverock Road, Reading, initiating a chain of events that would lead to a joyful reunion.
Upon arrival at Rags & Bert's, staff members promptly accessed the information on the identity tag and successfully contacted the relieved owner.
Within moments, tears of worry transformed into tears of joy as the lost dog was joyously reunited.
Director at Rags & Bert's Julia O’Gorman said "We are overjoyed to have played a part in reuniting this precious pup with its family.
"Our free identity tags are a small gesture, but they can make all the difference in ensuring the safety and well-being."
