A second man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder over a stabbing at Walkabout bar in Reading.
Jahlil Charles, a St Lucia national, stands charged with one count of attempted murder.
This is in connection with the stabbing of Tharel Thompson, 28, who was left in critical condition following an attack at the Walkabout bar off Friar Street.
Prosecuting barrister Emily Hodge told Reading Magistrates' Court today (February 26) that Mr Thompson was currently in a coma.
Walkabout has remained temporarily closed since the incident.
Mr Charles, 22, appeared before the court wearing prison overalls. District judge Samuel Goozee remanded him in custody, ahead of an appearance at Reading Crown Court on March 11.
He will be joined on that occasion by co-defendant Krisma Anthony, who has also been charged over the attack on Mr Thompson.
