An Austin Martin driver was caught travelling at a speed exceeding the national speed limit on a 40mph road in Calcot.
David Phillip Harris, 46, of Routh Lane in Tilehurst, pleaded guilty to the breach at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on January 23.
The court heard that, on July 16 last year, he was caught travelling at 74mph in Bath Road, Tilehurst.
The speed limit in Bath Road is just 40mph.
Magistrates stripped Phillips of his licence for 56 days, and ordered him to pay a £660 fine.
In addition, he must pay a victim surcharge of £264, and £90 of court costs.
