A much-loved pub has recently reopened near Reading under new management.
The Halfway Inn, located on the A4 in Halfway near Newbury, is a gastro pub serving hearty pub classics along with beers, wines, and spirits.
After a period of closure, the new staff at the Halfway Inn are happy to welcome customers back after a swanky new refurbishment.
The Halfway Inn now sports a cosy, intimate interior with wood-burning fireplaces and plenty of snug seating.
It has also been done-up with accents of green, white, and grey to compliment the already rustic wooden beamed ceilings.
The pub previously shut in October 2023 due to the rise of expenses given the cost of living crisis.
Now under new management, the new owners Rachel Cook and Richard Popplewell hope to restore the Halfway Inn to its original glory.
A spokesperson for The Halfway Inn has made the following statement:
"Thank you to everyone who joined us on our opening day, it is so good to welcome you.
"We are open tomorrow from 12, be sure to come and pay us a visit to enjoy one of our delicious dishes."
The pub also shared some photos of their delicious food which included traditional fish and chips and a burger.
