A crossing system has been completely smashed following an incident yesterday evening on Southampton Street.
The crossing system now lie in pieces at the crossing that links Pell Street and Crown Street.
Pedestrians should travel with caution and be aware of the lack of working lights on this part of the road.
The police have been contacted for information regarding the collision but have declined to comment.
