A fast food restaurant and takeaway is set to reopen two months after a sudden closure put down to technical difficulties.
Subway closed its Gun Street restaurant in early January, much to the surprise of customers who turned up to find the usually bright establishment dark with furniture stacked to one side.
A simple sign attached to the window read: "We are temporarily closed due to technical issues.
"We will be back soon. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Thank you."
Now eagle-eyed passers-by have seen a fresh sign on Subway's door.
It reads: "We are pleased to announce that Subway Gun Street will be reopening on Wednesday, March 13, 8am to 1am."
To mark the reopening, Subway is offering a free six-inch sub when customers buy any six-inch sub and a drink between 8am and 2pm.
"We can't wait to serve you again," the note added before being signed by Subway Management.
