Emergency services rushed to Royal Berkshire Hospital after an incident was reported in the multi-story carpark today (13/3).
It was reported by police that a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred on the first floor of the car park within the hospital grounds.
The multi-story has been sealed off and a cordon was put in place.
Thames Valley Police said: “We are now on the scene of a serious collision involving one vehicle at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading
“The multi-story carpark is closed and we would ask anyone using the hospital to find alternative parking.”
Greatest Hits Berkshire News reported on X that according to an eyewitness at the scene, a body was found under one of the cars on the first floor.
This has not been confirmed by police.
Royal Berkshire Hospital has been contacted for a comment.
