Reading are set to sell Bearwood training facility to near-neighbours Wycombe Wanderers, according to the Athletic.
The Royals, facing a race against time to plug a shortfall to avoid more points deductions, have been protesting against owner Dai Yongge for nine months.
Yongge, a Chinese billionaire, has been trying to sell the club and put a statement out on Sunday admitting that he is open to selling Bearwood, the club's home, separately to bring in short-term funds.
Matt Slater of the Athletic has stated that 'having already sold their stadium to a company controlled by Dai in 2019, Reading now face the prospect of renting their own training ground, too, with their landlords being near-neighbours Wycombe.'
The experienced journalist has also stated that interested parties have since walked away from any potential deal to buy the club.
Reading Football Club and Wycombe Wanderers have been approached for comment.
