A vehicle filled with suspected stolen goods was seized by Thames Valley Police officers.
Officers in Reading were patrolling on Friday, March 15, when they came across a black Audi speeding into a local estate.
The car was then abandoned at a dead end.
The police team said they found multiple bin bags in the vehicle, "seemingly the result of a day-long store crime spree".
An investigation has been launched into the suspected stolen items.
The thieves ran away, leaving all their 'hard work' behind, noted the police statement.
