A popular coffee boutique has announced its closure much to the dismay of many regular customers.
Nespresso in The Oracle has released a statement saying that they will be closing for good at the end of the month March 30.
The coffee specialist who is famous for selling the iconic pods for Nespresso machines will be deeply missed by shoppers who regularly buy from the boutique.
"A lot of my colleagues go during lunch break to get pods," said loyal customer Rebeka Thompson.
"You could also take your used pods into the shop to recycle them. I just don't know what we're meant to do with them now - not recycle?
"You also have to order 50 capsules for free delivery which is really annoying."
Nespresso opened its doors in reading for the first time in 2017 and saw great success for a period.
A spokesperson for Nespresso said:
"Your local Reading Boutique will be closing its doors for one last time on 30.03.24 but there's plenty of ways to continue the Nespresso adventure.
All your favourite coffees, plus many more remain at your fingertips and are available to order anytime on our website, via the App or by phone."
