A man has pleaded guilty to a string of driving offences after seriously injuring a man in Reading.
Jamie Banning, 30, of The Maying, Reading, crashed into a cyclist while driving a BMW in Basingstoke Road, Reading, on November 20 last year.
He then drove off afterwards, leaving his victim with life-changing injuries.
Today (March 28), Banning appeared via live video link before Reading Crown Court.
He admitted to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without third-party insurance, and failing to stop after an accident - all in connection with the same incident.
Judge Amjad Nawaz set a sentencing date in the case for April 26.
