A popular British chain restaurant has announced the closure of its Reading town centre branch
Browns Brasserie and Bar, located on the riverside, opened in The Oracle in 2011 following the closure of the former Ivory Lounge.
Its presence, alongside restaurants like TGI Friday’s, Nandos and Miller and Carter, has attracted many visitors to the Reading shopping complex over the years
A sign spotted on the window of the unit says: “Dear valued guests, it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the permanent closure of Browns Reading.
“We are incredibly grateful for all of your support and loyalty over the years.
“Thank you for being a part of our journey.”
Browns Brasserie and Bar has been contacted for a comment on the closure.
