The Berkshire countryside and woodlands across the country are now covered in a carpet of bluebells this April.
The beautiful blue flowers are one of the greatest highlights of Spring, creating an enchanting backdrop for your walks.
Here are some of the best-hidden gems in and around Berkshire for an enchanting bluebell walk over the next few weeks.
Prospect Park
Prospect Park is Reading’s largest open space and gets its name from the fine views across the Kennet Valley and beyond, which can be enjoyed best from the Mansion House.
The bluebells can be found throughout the mature oak woodland and heritage site where the beautiful bluebells are something to behold.
Sulham Wood
Sulham Woods offers a tranquil space close to Reading and the North Wessex Downs for peaceful afternoon walks and family days out for some fresh air.
Wild bluebells can be spotted throughout the woodland where dogs and other animals can be seen frolicking.
Birch Hill
Birch Hill is a southern suburb of Bracknell, originally part of the now-defunct civil parish of Easthampstead, in the English county of Berkshire.
Residents have spotted some beautiful bluebells throughout the countryside in the ward just outside Bracknell town centre.
A member of the Bracknell News Camera Club snapped a picture of this patch of bluebells in the area.
