A food business is set to take over an old solicitors’ office in a busy area of Reading.
A business called Da Spott is getting ready to open in a busy area near the town centre.
The address, 178 Oxford Road, was previously occupied by Aventus Law Solicitors, sandwiched between Mr Cod and Sky Blue Financial Partners.
‘Da Spott’ will occupy a busy area along Oxford Road, near the Great Western Railway bridge over the road and the new Reading West station building, which was opened this March.
The business does not appear to have a digital presence yet, but the owners want to sell food and alcohol when they open.

To be able to sell alcohol and food and soft drinks past 11pm, bosses at Da Spott need a licence from Reading Borough Council.
In full, Da Spott Ltd has applied to sell food and soft drinks indoors and outdoors until 11.30pm each night, and sell alcohol on and off the premises from 11am to 11pm each day.
A public consultation is being held into the licensing application.
You can take part in the consultation by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk.
The deadline for responses is Monday, May 20.
