A registered sex offender has been jailed after stealing almost £100 in baby clothes - and beating a woman.
Robbie Martin, 33, from Arncott, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on January 29 this year.
He pleaded guilty to charges of assault by beating and theft from a shop.
These were both in connection with an incident on August 9, 2023.
Martin stole £87 of baby clothes from the JoJo Maman Bébé store in Reading.
On the same day, he also assaulted a woman.
Magistrates jailed the defendant for two weeks.
