A man has been charged following an assault in Earley.
Sultan Basharat, aged 36, of London Road, Reading, was charged with one count each of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent, driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving a motor vehicle without third party insurance on Saturday, May 25.
The charges relate to an assault in Beech Lane at around 7.15pm on May 20.
Basharat has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on June 24.
Another man, aged 32 and also from Reading, remains on police bail until August 16 having been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent on May 21.
