A new report ranks school and colleges in Reading based on their progress 8 score.
Non-Stop Kids and Online Marketing Surgery have created their School Attainment Report, which help rank secondary schools in Reading based on their average progress 8 score.
This score is a way of measuring the progress that pupils make from the end of key stage 2 to the end of key stage 4.
Using the GOV.UK data, Online Marketing Surgery looked at all Reading secondary schools and colleges to find their progress 8 score.
From this, they saw if they’re below or above the 0-school average. They were then able to easily decipher which were the best and worst schools for pupil progression and ranked them accordingly.
The key findings of this report are as follows:
Kendrick School has the highest progress 8 score in Reading with 1.06 above the average of 0.
The facility with the lowest progress 8 score is King's Academy Prospect with their progress 8 score being 0.71 below the 0 average.
The data refers to the school, then the count of KS4 students, and lastly the progress 8 score.
