Yet more changes could be coming to The Oracle according to a recently submitted plan.
Works would see changes made to the former House of Fraser department store building for access points and provide more parking spaces.
Near the town centre, a pub wants to convert an existing outhouse into a microbrewery.
Elsewhere, progress is being made to complete the build of a new secondary school ready for opening this September.

Changes to The Oracle car park (240520)
The Oracle Ltd Partnership which runs the centre has applied to demolish a glass atrium at the top of the Holy Brook car park.
This would allow 10 car parking spaces to be created, which already has 595 spaces.
Planning agents from Turley have explained an existing escalator core will be removed and replaced, meaning the glass atrium is no longer required.
The glass atrium will be replaced with 10 parking spaces at roof level.
Conversion of outhouse into microbrewery at pub (240688)
The Count Me In Collective, a community-based training brewery for people with learning disabilities and or neurodiversity, has applied to take over the outhouse of The Castle Tap.
The organisation is based at the pub, with this application seeking to convert the outhouse at the back of the site into a microbrewery.
The Count Me In Collective has been fundraising for the project on Crowdfunder, raising £10,010 so far.
The crew help those with disabilities to train for employment in the brewing industry, with the long-term aim of selling their own beer.
Progress new secondary school project (240690)
Progress is being made on the build project for the new River Academy secondary school off Richfield Avenue.
The school was given planning approval in June 2022, but a series of conditions needed to be met before the project is completed.
Contractors have recently submitted details for the council to approve.
These details demonstrate at least 10 per cent of parking spaces will have electric charging points, with capacity for 10 per cent more in the future.
Addition of bedrooms at Emmer Green home (240511)
A homeowner in Wetherby Close, Emmer Green has applied for two-storey extensions to the house.
It currently comes with a kitchen, dining room, lounge, bedroom and toilet on the ground floor, with three bedrooms, a bathroom and a study upstairs.
Extensions would allow for the creation of a study and enlarged facilities on the ground floor, and two additional bedrooms on the first floor.
That would bring the house total to six.
