The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship will be kicking things off tomorrow Friday June 14 with Germany versus Scotland.

But where in Reading can you watch the tournament? Here's our pick of some of the most popular spots to enjoy the Euros.

Walkabout is the obvious choice for those wanting a great atmosphere with lots of other people watching.

The bar usually has huge projectors with staggered seating, so not being able to see the match will never be an issue.

Wild Lime, just down the road from Walkabout, is hosting a live DJ for the matches who will be playing before, during, and after the games.

Manager Toni Patti said they are hoping for fun vibes and hopefully not too many fights. the sports bar has over ten screens and plenty of seating, but customers are still encouraged to book ahead.

The Lyndhurst pub, which was recently taken over by new management, will undoubtedly be airing the tournament, as will the Turks Head which is just up from the independent.

Another obvious choice for footie fans is Blue Collar Corner, who use a large projector for streaming sports matches.

The trendy street-food market has lots in the way of seating.

The Boundary will also be streaming the Euros matches, the popular pub having numerous TVs throughout with some even secluded to certain tables.

The Outlook is expecting to get very busy with fans coming to watch the tournament, and has a full new menu to celebrate the occasion. The pub will be serving hot dogs, burgers, wings and is also launching beer towers for the tables.

Market House will be welcoming guests to watch the footie, and may even have TVs on their roof terrace during England matches.

O'Neil's manager Rob Pearman said that the bar will also be hosting a DJ for the matches, and is expecting a lot of viewers.

The bar is currently decorated with all the different flags from each team, and with two floors open seating shouldn't be too much of an issue, although customers are encouraged to book ahead.

Opposite O'Neil's, The Monk's Retreat will also undoubtedly be streaming the Euros. Brewdog is also actively promoting that they too will be showing all the matches.

We also encourage readers to pop down to their local independent pub to see if they are streaming the matches, as certainly many will be.
