Thames Valley Police recently caught a driver who was nearly reaching 100 miles per hour. 

During their tour of duty on Wednesday June 12, PCs 1569 and 3595 conducted mobile patrols and speed enforcement on the A33 coming into Reading.

Multiple road users were dealt with for a variety of offences, including careless driving and registration plate offences.

One driver has earned themselves a day in court for being caught at 97mph.

They can now explain to the magistrates why they thought this speed was acceptable
