A host of celebs have been spotted today in Ascot as racegoers mark the first furlong of the Royal event.

The first racegoers entered the racecourse at around 9am where they were spotted in the the latest fashions and most eccentric millenary.

The event is set to take place from Tuesday, June 18 to Saturday, June 21.

Although we are only a few hours into day one of Royal Ascot, a variety of TV personalities and celebs have already been seen walking through the gates of the Royal Enclosure and the Queen Anne Enclosure.

TV personality and radio presenter, Vicky Pattison was one of the first to wow racegoers with her choice of headwear.

Spotted in eye-catching bespoke headwear that rivalled the most unusual of Ascot hats, Pattison wore a fascinator with a giant cookie at the centre - designed by milliner to the stars, Victoria Grant.

The quirky fascinator was designed to celebrate the launch of Subway®’s new ‘piéce de résistance’, a Footlong Cookie.

Alongside Pattison, former English football player Theo Walcott joined racegoers alongside his wife Melanie.

Melanie sported a cream, black and orange patterned dress with a large black hat, whilst Theo wore a dashing three-piece suit with gold waistcoat.

Former professional jockey, Frankie Dettori, who competed in his final Royal Ascot race in 2023 turned out in his finery to support his friends and colleagues.

Another personality walking through the gates at Royal Ascot this morning included Lady Forsyth, who was adorned in a stunning blue ensemble with matching extravagant headpiece.

The King and Queen opened the event prior to the first race at 2:30pm.
