Long-serving Reading Chronicle sports reporter, Dave Wright, has been recognised for his work at the Berkshire Football Awards.
Set up and run by the team at Football in Berkshire, the awards recognise the achievements and hard work of the footballing community across the county, particularly at the non-league level.
Attended by more than 150 guests at Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading on Wednesday evening, 18 awards were handed out and a good time enjoyed by all.
Wright, who has covered sport in the county for over 40 years, won Correspondent of the Season for his work with the Reading Chronicle, Bracknell News and Slough Observer.

He continues to freelance for other outlets around the county.
He pipped fellow Reading Chronicle reporter James Earnshaw, Ascot United's Neal Jeffs and Base of the Pyramid to the award.
