JONATHON WHITNALL, 49, of Castle Street, Reading, convicted of stealing Prosecco from the Shinfield Co-op on June 16, 2023. Also convicted of stealing meat, ice creams and a milk beverage from the same shop on July 29, 2023. Also convicted of stealing meat from the same shop on August 10, 2023. Also convicted of stealing Ben & Jerry’s ice cream from the same shop on August 1, 2023. Also convicted of stealing confectionery and household items from the same shop on August 12, 2023. Also convicted of stealing two bottles of wine and six bottles of liquid gel from the same shop on June 25, 2023. Also convicted of stealing meat from the same shop on August 13, 2023. Also convicted of stealing meat and a shopping basket from the same shop on June 12, 2023. Also convicted of failing to surrender to court bail when required on January 8, 2024. Jailed for 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months, including a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement. Banned from the Shinfield Co-op for six months.

ANESU SHONIWA, 26, of Galsworthy Drive, Caversham, convicted of failing to provide a specimen to police when requested at Reading on November 19, 2023. Disqualified from driving for six months. Must pay a £259 fine, £160 in court costs and a £104 victim surcharge.

RODNEY MUNALULA, 28, of Norwich Drive, Woodley, convicted of failing to stop after a road accident in Fairwater Drive, Woodley, on November 6, 2023. Also convicted of driving whilst unfit through drink on the same day. Given a 13-month community order, including a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement. Must also complete 200 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay a £114 victim surcharge.

JASON TAPHOUSE, 54, of Beecham Road, Reading, convicted of possessing a lock knife in public at Reading on August 26, 2023. Also convicted of failing to surrender to court bail when required on April 9, 2024. Also convicted of causing racially or religiously-aggravated harm or distress at Reading on August 26, 2023. Jailed for six months, suspended for 18 months. Fined £230, including an 18-month mental health treatment requirement.

ALEXANDER DOCKERY, 35, of Balfour Crescent, Bracknell, convicted of speeding at Woolburn Green on September 3, 2023. Drove at 54mph in a 30mph zone. Must pay a £660 fine, a £264 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

JOSH BROWN, 44, of Johnstone Close, Bracknell, convicted of assault by beating at Bracknell on November 23, 2023. Given a 14-month community order, including 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must pay £100 in compensation and £85 in court costs.

CLAIRE MCCANN, 46, of Hallbrooke Gardens, Binfield, convicted of drug-driving at Maidenhead on October 31, 2023. Her blood-cocaine reading – namely 32µg per litre – exceeded the 10µg per litre limit. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Given a community order, including an 80-hour unpaid work requirement.

NASSIR SAID, 25, of Chalvey Grove, Slough, convicted of possessing a knife in Slough on December 23, 2023. Jailed for four months. Must pay £85 in court costs and a £154 victim surcharge. Knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

PAWEL ROSINSKI, 34, of Cippenham Lane, Slough, convicted of drink-driving at Slough on January 28, 2024. The proportion of alcohol in breath was 93 microgrammes in 100 millitres, exceeding the legal limit. Banned from driving for 24 months, to be reduced by 24 weeks upon completion of an accredited course. Must pay a £1,250 fine, £85 in court costs and a £500 victim surcharge.

JACK GREEN, 23, of Coniston Crescent, Slough, convicted of failing to provide a specimen to police for analysis when requested on March 29, 2024. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Must pay an £85 fine and a £48 victim surcharge.

RAPHAEL TABEL, 34, of Northmead Road, Slough, convicted of stealing sunglasses from Boots in Slough on April 2, 2024. Also convicted of stealing sunglasses from Boots in Slough on March 25, 2024. Given a 12-month community order, including 40 hours of unpaid work.

ZAKARY GOODEVE, 31, of St Michael’s Place, Waterlooville, convicted of assault by beating at Crowthorne on April 20, 2024. Must pay a £200 fine, £85 in court costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

It is established in the UK that court cases should be heard in public.
