Thames Valley Police is on a manhunt in Reading after a number of assaults.
On June 25, between 12pm and 1.30pm, an unidentified two-person crew in a white van used slingshots to assault passersby and vehicles in Woodley and Earley.
The attacks took place on several roads including Crockhamwell Road, Woodlands Avenue, Beechwood Avenue and Wokingham Road.
A 19-year-old Surrey man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, assault, and actual bodily harm, and has been released on conditional bail.
The police have issued a CCTV image of another man they wish to speak to regarding these incidents.
Detective Sergeant Johnathan Hare said: "We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image to get in touch as he may have vital information about these incidents.
"We would like to reassure the public that we are taking these incidents extremely seriously.
"Our officers are continuing to investigate this series of incidents and we would like to appeal to any witnesses or victims to please come forward."
Police are also looking for any related footage from CCTV, dashcams or doorbells.
They are additionally encouraging the provision of information through their online reporting pages, by phone using the number 101 and quote 43240298626.
They also give the option of contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously.
There is a dedicated portal for uploading digital evidence of these crimes.
