Businessman Sandeep Singh Chopra has applied to sell alcohol from 7am to 11pm each day at Mobile & Smokes.
A statutory consultation into the application is taking place, which you can respond to by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk.
The deadline for responses will be reached on Wednesday, July 24.
It is understood that the former Polish store is being divided into two, as the licensing application for Mobile & Smokes is addressed as 225a London Road.
The former Polish store sits within the 'Ceelonc Villas' terrace which it shares with Maharaja Sweets.
It is not clear whether Sklep Spożywczy or any other Polish store will reoccupy the building at '225b London Road'.
