A GP Surgery in Caversham has been named the best medical practice in the Reading area by patients.
Emmer Green Surgery, located on St Barnabas Road, rated best for ‘overall experience’ of patients in the 2024 NHS patient survey.
The survey asked residents for their views on their doctors' surgeries across a range of different areas.
The number of surveys completed varies from surgery to surgery, and does not represent every patient who is reigstered at any one centre.
Of the patients who responded, 91 percent who responded said their overall experience was good.
A variety of other areas are also measured including the ease of making an appointment, access to online services and waiting times.
Over the last few years, the local and national averages have dropped significantly as services are evaluated.
In second place is The Potteries medical centre in Tilehurst, which scored a satisfaction rating of 85 percent.
Goring & Woodcote Medical Practice, on Wayside Green, came in third place with 83 percent.
