Rating: 3.5/5

Where: 57 St. Mary's Butts

If you are looking for a relaxed beer garden to grab a drink after work or to start off a night then The Allied Arms is the perfect place for you.

Located in the heart of Reading, don't be fooled by its small shop front. The best thing about this bar is the huge beer garden (which is bigger than the actual pub in terms of space for punters).

One review said: "This is such a cute pub, and very atmospheric. It has two tiny bars inside and a great range of ciders and beers. But the best is a huge outdoor garden...which is heated in winter and looks pretty cute in summer. Outdoors is always pretty full whenever I've stopped by."
