A 73-year-old man is in hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after being knocked off his bicycle.
The incident happened at the roundabout at Oxford Road and Overdown Road in Tilehurst at around 12.20pm on Thursday, July 18.
A blue Kia Sorento collided with a cyclist on a black Brompton folding bicycle.
The cyclist suffered a broken pelvis and injuries to his arm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains at this time.
No arrests have been made.
Investigating officer PC Matt Bowden said: “I’d like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who may have seen the cyclist on the Oxford Road before entering the roundabout.
“If you have any information or dash cam footage which you think could help us, please call 101, quoting reference number 43240341304.”
